Update

Apparently it has been a while since I have posted anything. Life is always busy, for all of us I'm sure, but with a baby on the way it is even crazier! I can't believe we have only 4 weeks left, and truth be told I don't think I am going to make it another 4 weeks. I have been having a lot of contractions everyday, they just haven't been consistent enough to go to the hospital. I have dropped noticeably. Many people have mentioned, I look a lot lower. I have my next doctor's appointment on Monday the 7th, so we will keep you all updated. Jer has been interviewing for teaching jobs recently. Two Sat. ago he interviewed with a new charter school in Cedar and he has a second interview this Sat. There are positives and negatives to the job, just like any other. He also interviewed with Nebo school district and talked with Alpine. We found out that Alpine school district pays their middle school teachers $8,000.00 more a year than their elementary teachers. So he is really trying to get a Jr. High teaching position with Alpine. He has also applied with Washington county school district and North Sevier. We are still waiting to hear something from both of them. So for right now we are just playing the waiting game. I think Heavenly Father is really trying to teach me patients. I really want to know where we are headed and what the future has in store for us. I think our answer will come slowly though, just because I want an answer now. We have also seen a few cockroaches in our apartment. Yeah, you read right, COCKROACHES! I freaked out when we first saw them and called management right away. The manager notified me that apparently some people two levels under us moved here from Florida and brought cockroaches with them. Management says they have tried everything short of burning the apartments down to get rid of them. Since then, I have done some major research on cockroaches and have been able to keep them out of our apartment. If Jer and I had somewhere to go, I would be out of here in a second. Neither Jer or I do well with spiders or bugs, and especially not cockroaches. We haven't seen any for about a week, so we have our fingers crossed that they will stay away until we move. And yes I know it is kind of late, ok way late, but we did have a fun Easter weekend, and I wanted to post some pics from that. On Easter Sat. we woke up and helped Wyatt color Easter eggs. He had so much fun. He is at this age right now where no matter what we are making in the kitchen he has to grab his stool, stand up to the counter and help. So coloring eggs was just the thing for him. Right now he says his favorite colors are black, brown, and gray, I know we have a dark child, anyway, so the whole time we were coloring really ugly Easter eggs. But hey, whatever keeps the child happy right?

We later took Wyatt to the park and had a picnic. We let him play in the sand with his new bucket and shovel that the Easter Bunny gave him, and then he hunted for dinosaur eggs.

Wyatt wouldn't have been happy with anything else! It was really windy that day so we also flew his dragon kite that Ma's (this is what he calls my mom) gave him last year. Wyatt got the bucket and shovel, a pair of pj's and a lot of candy from the Easter Bunny. The next day we went out to Enterprise for an Easter dinner with Jer's family. It was a really nice weekend. Hopefully you can forgive me for this post being so late!

I will try to forgive you for such a late post! Didn't sound like you've been busy at all! Wow hun... cockroaches is not my idea of fun either. Bet that didn't make everyone want to run right over and meet the new neighbors from Florida! haha.

You sound so close to having your baby! I can't believe it. Better still be on your hospital calling list.

And as for Jer's job hunt, don't worry... he will find the perfect one. I'll keep you in my prayer... (probably praying hard for Alpine school district though! That would be so fun!

Glad to see your still around! Love ya!

Cockroaches, I'm glad we got out when we did :) I'm sorry for you though. So looking at those pictures of Wyatt, it looks like something is missing...he needs a sibling...oh good, your working on that! Glad everything other than the cockroaches are going well. Hope Jer gets the job in Alpine School District :)

Love Shelly

Wyatt is so cute! Holidays with kids are so much fun! COCKROACHES!! I know the feeling! Here in AZ they are a common thing of course. Before we bought our house I had to deal with my share of them! They are the one thing that is worse than a spider! I hope they stay away, and good luck with Jeremy's job! I hate the waiting game too!
