Daddy and Sydnee sitting in a tree!

Can I just tell all of you how much Jeremy loves this baby girl. I always hear smack about how he wants all these boys, but he loves this little girl so much it is disgusting. Seriously, he can't ever even hold her without constantly kissing her. I am always telling him to leave her alone. I tease him that if she could talk or move at all she would be hitting him and telling him to back off. I just have to give Jer a bad time. He truly is a wonderful dad, and I am grateful he loves Sydnee and Wyatt sooooooooo much! Sydnee will be 2 weeks old tomorrow! I can't believe how time flies! We took her for her 2 week check up today, and the doctor says he is not worried about her jaundice anymore. So that's a relief to hear! She weighs 5 lbs. 14 oz. now, that's 3 oz. more than her birth weight! Yay!! She is in the 2 percentile for everything. She is still just the best baby! And Wyatt is still being such a big older brother. I wasn't sure how he would do, but he has been soooooo good! And while I have you all reading, anyone have any tips on how to get ready for the day? I swear I am never ready before two in the afternoon! How do all of you with two or more kids do it?

Dyer Family said...: My philosophy...if you have nowhere to go, dont worry about it!!! I used to take Boston in the bathroom with him in the bouncy seat while I showered and then made sure Taylor was occupied with a snack, juice and a show to allow me time to get in and get out!! Brendan loves your music- he keeps asking for the "keep bleedin'" song - I might have to get it for myself. I don't know how anyone get ready at a decent time with a newborn- really I think it is impossible- I still find it hard to get ready and haven't figured it out with four kids; April 25, 2008 at 10:13 AM

Tim loved having both of the girls and the other day we were watching Must Love Dogs (I love that movie) and he told me it would be cool to have a bunch of girls. Tara said...: Very Sweet! Dad's always seem to be so protective with their little girls! And she is so cute! And so little! She is still half the weight of what Gavin was when he was born. He was off the charts! I wonder if any of my kids will be smaller? Who knows! I am glad things are going well! And good luck with the getting ready thing. Wyatt looks just like Jason when he was younger must be the Barlow thing. Sydnee is so cute and little. McKenzie was only 5lbs. 14oz when she was born and now shes 13.
Tell all your family Hi, sorry to say that on your blog but I have no idea how to get a hold of your family to keep in touch. We are expecting a little girl in Aug. as well.

The Barlow Family said...: She is SUPER cute! I had to laugh about what you said about Jer talking about you having a bunch of boys. J was the same way and now Karlie has him wrapped around her finger so tight he's not going to let her out of the house until she's 30! Girls are so much fun!
