Sydnee has arrived!

Our sweet angel is finally here. This last week has been filled with some challenges to say the least. We are so excited and blessed to finally have her here with us. I was going to be induced Friday morning, but I went to my appointment Thurs. night for the high risk testing, and they decided to just keep me and induce me Thurs. night. So they induced me at 12:45 that night or in the morning, however you want to look at it. I had her at 8:47 on Friday morning. They had me on magnesium so I wouldn't seizure during labor, and it made me so sick. Then during labor I lost a lot of blood, and Sydnee inhaled some on the way out. So they spent a lot of time suctioning out her mouth and nose. She had to be put on oxygen for the first 5 hours and then has been fine since. She weighed 5 lbs. 11 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches long. She is just tiny and the cutest little thing ever. All of her clothes drowned her! I wasn't aware we were supposed to be buying preemie clothes. Anyway she is doing really well except for a little jaundice. We took her back to the hospital today to have it checked and her count went up. So we are waiting to hear from the doctor to find out what we do from here. Wyatt has been so good and cute with her. Everyday he says, "Thanks for my little sister mom." He loves to hold her, and give her lots of kisses. We kind of think she looks similar to Wyatt when he was a baby.
