Our Thanksgiving Weekend

This year we went to Enterprise for Thanksgiving. Did I take pictures you ask? Why of course not. But my camera did sit in my purse the whole time. Anyway, for journaling purposes I still wanted to write about our weekend. We headed down to Enterprise Wed. It was nice to have a full day of driving. And believe me, we needed it. Anyone who can drive straight from North Salt Lake to Enterprise should be able to do it in about 4 hours give or take. But it usually takes us like 7. Mostly because once we get to Cedar we feel like we are home again and have to sit and reminisce.

Any who, so we volunteered to stay with Jer's grandparents because we knew it would be a full house at his parents. It ended up being really nice. We had our very own bedroom and bathroom and they had a pullout couch for Wyatt. Our Thanksgiving day was really nice. We all ate a lot of food and pie and then watched some football and played games. Ok well the men watched football while the women sat around and looked at ads. Wyatt had a blast playing with cousins as usual.

The Friday after of course, the women woke at 5 am and headed to St. George to shop and left the kids with the men. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go shop at first, but I am so glad I did. I was exhausted, but it really was a blast and I found some good things. We all had lunch and then headed home. And then of course all the men got to have their fun when us women got back. They took off and went skeet (I don't know how to spell this word.) shooting. On Sat. our niece Shelbie was baptized. It was really special. And we are glad it worked out so that we were there for the baptism. Sunday we woke up and headed home. It was a really fun weekend and we are thankful for all that we have and are blessed with. Note to self: Next time, TAKE PICTURES!!
