The Redbox Experience

Jer and I started renting movies from redbox a few months ago because it's just so cheap! We then realized if you go to redbox.com you can set up an account and they start e-mailing you promo codes to get free movies. We get about 3 free movies a week. It really has been a good system for us. Anyway, we went this weekend to rent a movie, and we usually try to find one that Wyatt will like watching while we watch ours. Redbox posts pictures of movies they have so while you are waiting you can look at the pictures and decide what you want to rent. Well, we have discovered that a lot of times you can see a picture of the movie you want, but when you go to rent it, it isn't in their computer. We are guessing cause they are out of it or something. Well, this is a little hard to try and explain to a three year old. He saw a picture of the movie "Snow Buddies" and wanted it real bad. So we got to the front of the line and started looking for it, and it wasn't in the computer. So we had to try and explain to Wyatt that he needed to pick a different movie. Well, of course he started to throw a fit. So we told him we would go to another redbox location in town and try to find it for him. This made him a little happier. So after driving to 4 different redbox locations and not being able to get the movie we were all a little frustrated. We thought we would try the one last location in Cedar. So there we are standing in line, and Wyatt says, "This is the dumbest thing I ever heard! You can see the picture, but you can't get the movie!" Jer and I just started laughing. Wyatt just didn't understand how he could be looking right at the picture of the movie, but we couldn't get that movie out of the machine. After all was said and done nowhere in town had the movie and we talked him into a different one.
