We have had a crazy month or so. We finally closed on our house on August 14th and got moved in. The wait was ridiculous and it was beyond frustrating to keep hearing that we could close, and then that day would come, and something else came up. It felt like forever!! Thanks to grandpa for letting us stay a couple weeks while we were in limbo! We felt extremely rushed because Jer had to be back to school that coming Wednesday, and I had a preschool open house the Saturday after we got moved in. As soon as we could move in that preschool was my main priority. Thanks to the help of my wonderful hubby, mom, and sister spending hours we got it all pulled together. I had my open house, and it was a success. I have 8 kids in my 3 yr. old class and 3 in my 4 yr. old class. I am pretty excited about it. Of course I would love a few more older kids, but I knew it would be hard to get that age group. A lot of the older kids already have a preschool teacher from last year that they will just stay with. So who knows, maybe I will pick up another throughout the year. I think for my first year I have a good start.

Each kid will have their own cubby
Circle time
(Robot friend, sound-o-meter, calendar, & coconut tree)
Play area
Birthday display, coat/backpack hangers
As soon as my preschool open house wrapped up, it was time to start thinking about this wonderful sinus surgery. I had 1 week in between the open house and surgery to try and get the rest of the house in order. We tried to hang a few things and get most everything settled. I have posted a bunch of pictures of the house, and as you can tell things are still a little cluttered, but we did our best. Moving in is quite the project! Monday I had my sinus surgery, and things went really well. The doctor said they were able to do what they set out to do, and everything went as well as they could have hoped. I have spent the last few days in bed trying to recover while Jer's parents take care of the kids. I am so thankful they were able to come and help out! Sydnee has been really funny. She won't let Mary Ann do anything. She will only got to Les. So Les has been changing all the diapers, doing all the bathing, feeding, dressing, etc. I guess it's good for him. I don't know why, but she just won't go to Mary Ann. It's kind of been funny to watch. Jer has started volleyball at the school. He is hoping to have a good year. He is liking his job except for the commute. Although we knew it would be bad when we decided to build out here. We've also added a knew addition to the family. Jer and Wyatt have always wanted a dog, so as soon as we had the house for it, we had to get one. I can't believe I agreed to a new puppy in a new house! It's been ok though. We have in boxed off in the dining area for now, and are working on the potty training. He has been pretty good to go outside most the time. The kids would love him if he could get past this puppy stage. He is a sweet dog, just has lots of energy, and likes to chew and bite. We are working on it. He is a boxer collie mix, and we named him Ozzy. Hope everyone is doing well. We are really loving life and are grateful for a new home to live in, a surgery that went really well, and each other!! By the way if I am not making sense, or have misspelled a few things, I am still a little loopy!!
