Anyone? Anyone?

Ok so Sydnee is going through this stage where she doesn't want baby food anymore, but she can't eat all grown up food yet either. She loves pieces of bread, crackers, and banana but I am having the hardest time making sure she gets fruits and vegetables and not just snacky food. It was so easy when she ate the baby food, but now she won't. I sometimes just try to feed her smaller versions of what we are eating, but depending on what that is, that won't always work. She hasn't taken to the pasta pickups and other gerber graduate foods, and besides it is all so expensive. I guess I am just having a hard time finding a variety of things to feed her. It's like lunch hits and I draw a blank, I have no idea what to make for her. Does anyone have any suggestions? What do you feed your kids when they won't eat baby food anymore? I know I should know because I went through this with Wyatt, but I can't remember what I did with him.

Try to blend up what you are eating to feed her. We did that because baby food was expensive back in our day and not very good. Give he lots of finger foods to feed herself.

Darling pictures. Love Linda

Well, I know I will be going through this with Paisley soon. I guess I just feed McCoy different kinds of pastas with sauce. I usually try to find mini macoroni, penne, or shells, and then buy different jars of marinara sauces. He usually does pretty good with that. It was so good seeing you guys during the football game. I miss hanging out with you. Call soon okay.

We did lots of mac and cheese, cheese crisps, nuggets in small pieces, and canned soups! For the soups I just strained all the stuff out and let them have at it!!

I hate when they decide to do that!!! I had someone tell me to put a little salt (just a pinch) and a little butter in there food. We dont eat our veggies without a little salt and stuff. I never tried it I would just give my kids what we ewere eating mashed up. I do however put a little sugar in the baby cereal because I think it would taste so nasty without it (my bad I know) Good luck and pass on anything you find that helps. I to will be ther soon!!!

Angela-
I would buy a bag of baby carrots, boil until soft and then let the boys eat them. Do the same with peas, beans, avacado is good too. It is messy but good for her. Give her a spoon and let her go for it with applesauce. Pears & Peaches are also easy, just cut them into small pieces. Good luck.
