Booger, Anyone?

The other night we were out running some errands, and it got to be dinner time. We were driving around deciding what we could pick up that would be quick, cheap, and easy, and Wyatt says, "I want a booger. You know like the boogers daddy likes to eat." Now Jer and I knew he meant a hamburger, but we still couldn't help laughing. We just told him we would try to find somewhere with a booger. As we continued to drive around he just kept saying over and over, "I want a booger, they are so yummy, you know, like the kind daddy eats." We just couldn't stop laughing! It was just so funny that he kept saying booger, instead of burger. Then last night I was taking dinner to some friends of ours that just had a baby. I left Wyatt in the car while I ran the dinner in real quick. When I got back to the car and got in, I turned around to Wyatt and said, "Thank you for being such a good boy. That was so good of you to sit in the car and wait for mom." He looks at me and says, "I wasn't a good boy! I sat in here and tried (his way of saying cried), and tried and tried. You left without me, never do that again. And so I tried and tried like a baby!" Wyatt truly brings such happiness and joy to our lives! I can't believe how smart he is, and what a good boy he is. I am truly blessed.
